Frosty reception
This cute little fella was the big hit of last year’s seasonal cocktail menu at Dublin’s Morrison hotel.

Mr Frosty may look innocent, but as well as vanilla ice cream and cream, he contains vodka and Bailey’s. He’s back with Jingle Jilly, who has rum, lime juice, strawberry ice cream and cream. Both are a cool €9.50. morrisonhotel.ie

Make it snappy
The Lismore Food Company’s new range of Dark Chocolate Apple Crisp Thins, launched this Christmas, is being snapped up by consumers. Air-dried slices of apple wrapped in dark Belgian chocolate, the gluten and dairy-free snacks cost €8 for a 100g box. thelismorefoodcompany.com

Suet you, sir
Still haven’t found the gift for the meat lover in your life? Try a 56-day-aged sirloin steak, gift-wrapped in a big block of dripping. Kelly’s Butchers in Newport, Co Mayo, says ageing in a suet “chrysalis” helps the meat mature without deterioration. The price is €25. Email info@kellysbutchers.com. kellysbutchers.com
