You didn’t think I would forget to post about the April stamp of the month, did you? I’ll admit, I should have done it last week, but I had my hands in a lot of crafty endeavors. Not a good excuse but it’s all I’ve got right now, so humor me!
As always, Close to My Heart does not disappoint with the monthly sets. This one is cute and since I do a lot of beach layouts, this should be a welcome addition to my stamp arsenal. Couldn’t you see that little Bob Marley quote on a scrapbook page of your family on vacation, enjoying the sunshine? Maybe in a “thinking of you” card to a friend? I also think that depending on the ink color you use, you could get a lot of mileage out of the bird and the little wing stamp. Looking at the sun stamp, you could use other colors and use it more of a starburst instead of a sun and use it to frame a photo or another stamped image. Plus, if you have the Cricut Artiste Collection, you can cut those exact shapes out! See the ones outlined in red? It’s outlined to show you that Cricut Artiste cuts those. How simple would that be? Cut out the shapes on Cricut and then stamp away and have no need to trim or anything. Fancypants!
If you’re new to Close to My Heart Stamp Sets of the Month, here’s how it works. You simply purchase 50$ or more in Close to My Heart merchandise (which is easy to do with the latest catalog. So many cute new things!) on my site, here. Once you have 50$ of items in your cart, on the cart screen, it will tell you that you qualify and ask if you want to purchase the set for only 5$! If you want to purchase it for it’s full price without spending 50$ in merchandise, you can also do that. It’s 17.95 if you do it that way. You can find the regular priced listing here. Regardless of whether you get it for 5$ or 17.95$, this stamp set is ONLY available in April. I have never seen a stamp of the month return or repeat in any way, so if you like this set and I know you do, get it soon! What are you waiting for, start shopping! As always, if you have any questions or comments, please do share! Until next time, happy crafting!
